RADICAL Trek 2025, Day 2

It’s time to get RADICAL

We’re the Rainforest Anchor Development & Integrated Corridor Alliance — the international conservation initiative creating a biological corridor across Costa Rica, from the Pacific to the Caribbean.

Our goal is to reestablish forests, economically empower local communities, and pioneer a model of conservation that can be replicated in vulnerable ecosystems worldwide.

Why Costa Rica?

Two smiling elderly people, a woman with glasses and a man wearing a tan cap, standing outdoors in front of a rustic wooden structure with greenery in the background.

Magda and Orlando, traditional farmers and land owners in Costa Rica

A world leader in conservation, 25% of Costa Rica’s land and over 30% of their marine territory is protected. Costa Rica’s existing policies and culture toward conservation offers fertile ground to test and develop our methodologies.

However, tensions still exist between conservation ideaologies and the day-to-day economic needs of Costa Rican farmers and land owners.

You Can’t Spell Economics Without Eco

Conservation succeeds when local communities succeed too. Our strategy combines conservation, economic opportunity and eco-tourism to create sustainable benefits for the environment, local communities and investors.

RADICAL Trek 2025, Day 3

And we need people like you.

From conservationists, researchers, and business execs to educators, outdoors-lovers and beyond — we’re creating a diverse network of leaders who care about economic and ecological sustainability.

Become Part of our International Network

We’re actively recruiting our foundational team to join us in The Corridor November 17-24, 2026. This cohort will help shape the program, steward the evolution of The Corridor, and mentor future cohorts.

Meet Our Team

RADICAL has been designed by strategists, conservationists, farmers, and adventure-guides who understand that leadership — like nature — thrives at the intersection of adversity, stewardship, and embodied experiences.
